I am a 32 year old, professional Freelance Web Designer/Developer.

Past

My passion for programming computers started at around 10 years old, when my parents risked buying me an Atari computer. Instead of being outside playing football, I would be hunched over a keyboard tapping away.

That new found love never left and I now find myself thankful for that early experience that holds me in good stead today.

Present

Far from 'BASIC' now though, my ten year involvement in web design to date, have enabled me to become proficient in vital, modern web development skills:

I hold an industry recognised CIW Internet Web Master qualification and honed my skills working commercially for the past five years with a medium sized web studio in the East Midlands.

I progressed from Junior Designer, to Lead Developer and eventually spending the final 2 years as the company's Project Manager, mentoring four staff members and over one hundred clients at any time.

Future

In June 2008, I decided to 'go-it-alone' and use my skills and experience in the freelance market. Doing so enables me to offer potential clients the same high level of website design skill, commitment and professionalism, but at a price that will not break the bank.

I am happy to work for private clients, or as an outsource for existing web studios all over the UK.
