Precious Little One

In early 2009, I was approached to discuss a new website for PreciousLittleOne. The online baby produce retailer are one of the biggest in the UK and at the time of our meeting, had been using an off-the-shelf ecommerce package.

Due to the size of their operation and the lack of flexibility with their current 3rd-party solution, they desperately needed something more fitting to not only enhance their online presence, but also assist behind the scenes with the store's day-to-day operations.

Working with Design:fx, a fresh new design was approved and work began on the website.

Aside from a highly evolved front end to the website, incorporating many exciting modern features expected of a large online retailer, the bespoke admin section behind the scenes had to cater for a range of users at all levels of PC skill and allow the staff to quickly and easily access all the features that drove the front end of the website.

This website project has been the biggest single undertaking since my freelance career launched and even now, some 3 months after launching, we are still working hard to add more and more to the site - something that PreciousLittleOne wanted - a flexible solution that they could grow and involve. I feel very grateful to be involved in such an exciting project!
